2 Cube House’s design is highly modern, maintaining geometric lines and a straight, cubic form throughout. Living up to its name, two cubes have been utilised (one on the ground and the other on the first) and through subtraction and addition of the forms, the form becomes much more visually dynamic. Various heights can be seen used throughout the form, thus keeping the form less stagnant. Materials such as travertine, wood and glass have been utilised, adding visual interest and allowing the structure to blend harmoniously together with its natural surroundings.
